Decoration is the instinct of human and it is not independent. It represents the human’s subjective will and spirit connotation and is the product of man’s self consciousness development to a certain stage; it shows through some specific art forms and is a kind of regular art form. By decoration, human constantly enriches and perfects their inner including the moral, intellect, emotions, desire, and so on. It not only exists in decorative arts, but also is everywhere in paintings, sculptures and animations. "Decorativeness" is the root of it existence. Besides, the kind of decorativeness especially exists in "Chinese school" animated films and constitutes the distinctive artistic style.Chinese traditional animations, also known as "China’s national animations", are mainly defined from time and they refer to Chinese animations produced from 1922 when Chinese animations were born to 1989 when Chinese animations entered the exploration phase transition. During the most glorious period, China yield unusually brilliant animations and China’s animations formed a unique "Chinese school"; China created a large number of excellent animation works with rich decoration style. Through the analysis of traditional decoration style of animation in China, people can learn decorativeness plays an important role in the animated films. Traditional Chinese animations absorb Chinese traditional folk art, reflect strong sense of decoration, and are full of complicated gradation beauty and orderly-listed structure both in molding style or color structure, and show considerable and strong decorativeness. The different combinations of various elements in Chinese traditional animations produce different art effect; Chinese traditional animations adopt various approaches to show visual effect, therefore, the study of the rich decorativeness that traditional Chinese animations contain need to start from the aspects of model, scenario, structure and color.The purpose of the study is to understand the influence of decorative language in Chinese traditional animations. With the modeling, the use of scenario, composition, color, etc of decorative language in Chinese traditional animations as the research object, starting from the theoretical analysis and the classical case study, the paper conducts systematic analysis and summary of the relation among them, looks for the display rules and practice technique of decorative language in animations, improves the appeal and visual wallop of animations, makes their artistic value more rich and colorful, enhances their cultural connotation, and also provides certain theoretical basis and feasible suggestions for the application of decorative language in Chinese traditional animations.
