The Decorative Art Research Of Traditional Folk Arts Performance Space

Traditional folk culture and decorative arts with significant geographicaldistinction are indispensible components of Chinese traditional culture system. Theypossess the distinctive and profound traditional culture heritage through enduringhistorical accumulation. Nowadays, with the rapid development of economy,technology and consumption level, individuals’ spiritual demands is continuouslyrising. As a consequence, there is a necessity that to response to the functionalrequirements of space, culture ambience, decorative meaning and ornamentalindividuation. The enhancement and development of traditional opera culture withdecorative arts and performance space standard will be a new interpretation of culturespace characteristic and connotation in new era. In the decorative arts of performancespace of traditional opera art area, how to integrate folk culture, regional culture andtraditional opera performance space that in the traditional folk art into space decorativearts masterly is the critical point of this research.This article will target decorative arts in traditional folk performance space to doresearch and analyze the features of decorative arts, visual composition andperformance practices. Also, based on the existing research of traditional folkperformance space and in the background of folk arts culture and regional culture, itwill study areas of culture, space functions and artistic expression along with visualconstitution of interior space and performance practices of decorative art.Through sorting with traditional folk arts, evolutions of performance space and effects of modern economic development in China, this article reveals thecharacteristics and developmental disciplines of a special space. Based on thetraditional opera performances, to analyze the character of such space decorative artand the problem of its existence, in order to form a set of integral design principle andapproach of decorative art system. As consequence, designers are able to applytraditional opera culture into the traditional opera performance space design, andmeanwhile, to create more excellent opera art space heritage.
