Visual form of the human eyes is a description of the external perception of light and visual stimuli. As the only receiver of the light, human eyes have strong perceived capacities of light, which can naturally distinguish the intensities, the distance and colors of light. We are able to clearly identify the shape and volume of the objects, and spatial environment etc. through our eyes.As an integral media to convey vision, visual forms in visual communication play a significant role. In three-dimensional real space, visual forms are more diverse, especially in the areas of visual arts that have wide applications. For instance, it is widely used in the realm of architecture, drama and painting etc. Taking the drama as an example, this paper aims to answer how visual forms are applied in visual arts and their visual and psychological effects on audience.This paper has four chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the concept of visual forms and explains its specific characteristics as a media to convey vision. In the second chapter, we first demonstrate the definition of space and elaborate the diverse types of visual forms in three-dimensional real space. Taking the drama as an example the third chapter introduces the relationship between the drama and space and then illustrates how visual forms perform in the drama space and how they take effects. The last chapter elaborates how the visual forms are applied in the personal works and how to manifest the elements of drama and space in the personal creation.
