The author is infatuated with the body politic, so she tries to seek the thinking and relation of body politic from all aspects of life and academic field.It is valuable to reading Mo Yan’s novels in political ways. A good researcher should put the author aside, but concentrate on the novel itself to make the political reading. Therefore, the author redefines the concept of “political reading” through the reading history: we should eliminate superstitious perspective and make a aesthetic reading and thinking with the concept political aesthetics based on the specific analysis of literature text. The perspective of literary works by political practice and aesthetic principles, it becomes our aesthetic experience and makes us understand the reflective political truth and law at the same time. Finally, the political rules which are summed up will in turn continue to influence other people’s life. This is a process of re-creation. Mo Yan’s novel contains rich body political implications which reflect the interaction and conflict of body and power. Here, it provides a large number of deep excavations for us to think about life and the be-decisive of life, metaphor and struggle of body, the conflict and interaction between body and power. Finally, when we come to the reality, it realizes the political philosophy thinking to the life practice by literature.The author chooses the Mo Yan’s three novels as the object for reading and studying, which are Frog, Sandalwood Penalty, and Wine Country. The main line of the novel Frog is the entanglement between life ethics and national governance. It describes a rural female gynecologists “aunt” who had to change her role between delivery and killer of life under the nation family planning policy. The concepts of“Political life” remind us to notice that the authenticity of “life”can barely survive in the modern society and it has long been woven into the logic of modernity, being associated with “politics” profoundly. In the growth and suppress of individual life and the national governance, we can touch the reality of anxiety life, the helpless of be-decisive life, and the reflection of the political management to life by nation.“Aunt” and tadpole do not count as the accomplice of “life killer”, but they also can’tdo “salvation”. We can’t make a simple right or wrong judgment for family planning.The contradiction between folk ethics and national governance will eventually be broken by the “life” which is the universal value and return to the unique noble life itself.Novel Sandalwood Penalty is mainly concerned about the physical violence, the conflict and contradiction between body and power. It describes the event that an anti-colonial leader Sun Bing punished by sandalwood penalty in the late Qing dynasty in Gao Mi northeast town, Shan Dong province. The process shows the cruelty of China’s feudal monarchy and power struggles. The novel focuses on the writing of body and contains a lot of body metaphors. Meanwhile, it develops with how the body be destructs, tamed and how does it struggle in the conflict between that and power. The Novel focuses on the writing of the body. The main characters redefine the human cost in the conflict between body and power and show the tragic and heroic in the struggle that how body compete with power and desire.Novel Wine country analyses the interaction and conspiracy between body and power. It mainly describes the Provincial People’s Procuratorate super scout Ding Gou who comes to wine country to investigate a special case about a high-ranking official eating “braise babies”. In the novel, the power and politics which are contained in the diet writing shows a naked and rough power relationship. Eat and be eaten become an extreme symbol of power relations. It is Chinese unique political landscape-food field which can truly reflect the officialdom mapping inherited from the ancient that cause by the author’s thinking about clean government and anti-corruption.Literature comes from the real life. To study Chinese political need to go back to the practice of Chinese life. In Mo Yan’s articles, body is endowed with more abundant political implications. Thereby, the body narrative is actually a narration of political development and social change. It is not a reflection of the politics itself, but a reflection of larger field changes. The political reading of literary works changes from intuitive to rational, from narrative to analyze, and from the real life symbols(artistic language) to the process of political proposition.
