| From the perspective of "the function of visual thinking in preferential selecting and using the roundness ", this paper selected 806 Circular structure words ofNaxi character and 166 Circular structure words ofOracle-bone inscriptions,based on "The Book Naxi Pictograph Character Chart"edited by Fang Guoyu and He Zhi wu and " The New Oracle Bone Inscription Collection "edited by Liu Zhao. Then this paper studied on the roundness in them from the aspects of the meanings and functions of character, and then made a comparison between them.The second chapter of this paper studied on the meanings and functions of Circular structure words of Naxi character. The meanings of character divided in to 10 catagories, including astronomy, geography, plant, animal, human and implements tools, ornaments, architecture, food and abstraction. The functions of character divided into pictograph、semanticdegree、realification and indicating pronunciation.The third chapter of this paper studied on the meanings and functions of Circular structure words ofOracle-bone inscriptions. The meanings of character can be divided in to 9 catagories, including astronomy, geography, plant, animal, human and implements tools, ornaments, building, abstraction. The functions of character divided into pictograph、semanticdegree、realification and indicating pronunciation.The fourth chapter made a comparison between these two kinds of character on the aspects of the meanings and functions of character, then using the materials of these two kinds of character to demonstrate "the function of visual thinking in preferential selecting and using the roundness". |
