| Liang Shuming devoted his life to ponder two questions, namely China issues and problems of life, but he eventually gives positive answers to condense in his interpretation of the word "rational". He believes that China is the country of reason, and was inscribed as a over a monograph, the book has not yet published for a variety of reasons, which fortunately was later finishing "The Complete Works of Liang Shuming," which included, while he was still in his various works late to "rational" to explain China’s unique national identity. He summed up the differences between Chinese and Western cultures as "rational" and "irrational", the Chinese culture is taking the "rationality" of the road, while Western culture is taking the "sanity" of the road, the so-called "rational", Liang Shuming call it "reasonable", and "reason" is interpreted as "physical," he says competition with the points Western cultures do not exist, just different way forward. Liang Shuming is not only a thinker, or a practitioner, he was thinking of the Chinese question that he put into practice in rural construction, he will own ideas into practice, to the efforts to explore a suitable for China’s national conditions, which was different from the Western one modernization of the road. His thought of the problems of life, is the experience of his entire life. He always has what kind of thinking and has what kind of life, he used his life practice his own philosophy of life. Although Liang Shuming rural construction practice was not successful, but also the fate of the ups and downs of his life, however, he explored on the road of China’s modernization still has a positive reference value.
