Academic drip, the world with all things. Holistic design of general books evolve in the historical development trend, and consumers’ physiological and psychological, ideas for children have different degrees of influence. In-depth analysis of the characteristics of different stages, children’s cognitive thinking and combining with the general books holistic design, not only can highlight personalized needs of different stages of children for popular science books, more important is to be able to better pass the popular science knowledge, meet children in reading experience, improve their reading interest. In terms of children’s books of general itself, the overall design will be better able to present a variety of ways, fully consider children’s perception of popular science books internal layout and external form, thus in the design to the cognitive ability of children.Facing the current social environment of the children of general books in the book market of the important position, set out to explore this topic from the children’s cognitive thinking the whole performance of popular science books.
