Critical Discourse Analysis is Critical Linguistics. Its basic study point concentrates on three aspects:The relationship between the discourse and ideology;The relationship between discourse and society; The relationship between the discourse and control and power.Through the analysis of the text content and discourse construction and social surroundings this paper aims to establish a direct relationship between language structure of discourse and social structure.The theoretical basis comes from Halliday’s Systemic Functional Grammar and Clough Critical Discourse analysis three dimension method and mr Thompson’s Ideological Analysis Model. Through text content, discourse practice process, and social and cultural context,this paper aims to explain and describe how this documentary achieve the purpose of spreading their own values and ideologies by language strategies and to prove that the text ideology exists in any of the topic selection of news discourse and discourse in the process of building.Shot in 2011, the BBC documentary "the Chinese people are coming " which shot in Africa, South America and American through covering people in different social status and showing interview scene demonstration, and through certain language and narrative skills to convey a kind of point of view "China threat" to the world. The spreading of the negative image for China hurts China’s international trade, national interests and international image.
