Research On The Application Of Digital Technology In Museum Visual Design

The purpose of this paper is to study the application of digital technology in the design of modern museum guide,and analysis the current situation and development of design of modern museum guide. As a window of cultural relics protecting.civilization inheriting, and culture spreading,the museum has functions of educating,collecting, researching and enriching civil life.As an important part of sign design in museum and an important media between museums and visitors.sign design plays the role of guidance and communication.With the development of modern science and technology,museum sign design gradually develops from traditional way to various ways.for instance,from the traditional graphic printing, posters to modern digital technology including sound.light, electricity and interactive media technology.Museum sign design has various forms, bringing brand-new experience to visitors.This paper selects the application of digital technology in museum sign design as topic,using the method of induction,illustration,survey,comparative analysis,literature research,field investigation,questionnaire interview and other research methods.choosing many museums.especially 10 different types of museums in Guanzhong region of Shanxi province,aiming at understanding cognition.feelings.needs,suggestion from visitors about digital technology in museum sign design,analyzing his necessity of the digital technology in museum sign design,how to make the museum sign depending on the design to the greatest extent to meet the needs of visitors.and discussing how to satisfy the visitors mostly.
