As for Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, it’s one of the crucial tasks to provide the standardized and authorized Chinese course book for the learners from all over the world. Recently more and more learners without any basic Chinese language knowledge come to China, who need to quickly acquire Chinese language to adapt to the daily life. Therefore, it is significantly meaningful to study the intensive training Chinese course books. And intensive training Chinese course books, “Chinese with me an integrated course book” is a set of this kind of teaching books that has a certain influence. So this paper, on the basis of predecessors’ researches, selects the integrated course books as the study target. Firstly, the paper represents the “sequence and direction” principle of course books compilation and its application in the books. And then, the author systematically examines “Chinese with me an integrated course book” from pronunciation, texts, vocabulary, grammar and exercise by the method of statistics to try to present the outlook of this course book objectively. Finally, the author combines the results of previous researches to provide suggestions on the shortcomings of “Chinese with me an integrated course book” for revising this set of course books. The purpose of the thesis is to offer reference to the compilation of such kind of course books. |
