Sun is one of the "bottom narrative" writers who have risen in the past few years. Since 1982 she has published more than two million words, including 8 novels and 4 short stories,1 collection of essays. Her works won many awards, even some of them were translated into other languages. She is rooted the grassroots culture and based on the folk spirit and culture feeling, she is in the form of literature to complete reflections on modern history proposition. Sun don’t like the "grand narrative" in the literary world. She used to focusing on the human’s feeling in their heart. There are three points about her works:topic of suffering, cultural skills, criticism of traditional culture.Firstly, I explain "bottom literature" and "bottom narrative", and analysis their limitation. And then, I show how to avoid normal limitation though Sun’s novels.Secondly, in the first part of my paper, I explain the topic about the suffering in society, including their life, spirit, felling. Then, I refer to the reasons to peasants’ suffering according to Sun’s view. Thirdly, in the second chapter, I focus on the Sun’s artistic skills such as fiction, prototype, daily life and tragic aesthetics and so on, And, in the third chapter, I analyze the cultural meaning of her novels. There are four filed to introduce Sun’s cultural meaning:custom, criticize traditional culture, criticize the short of the spirit of peasant because of modernization, and tragedy consciousness of life Finally, I point out the problems of Sun’s novels.Sun’s novel is a cultural mirror of the southern Liaoning province and preciously local work. I can’t summarize the meaning and value of these works perfectly. But I will try to study it with my profound respect. And then, I try to explain the development and revolution of "bottom narrative".
