The female calligrapher of Han dynasty wei-jin made more outstanding achievements in calligraphy art. In new paleolithic matriarchal society dominated by women, hieroglyphs or symbols were carved on the rock, which is the oldest "ancestor" of the art of calligraphy, having a close ties with the "female script" and the female tablet in Jianghua County, Hunan Province. According to historical records, the female calligrapher during the Han and Wei-jin dynastyi-jin were represented by Wenji Cai of Eastern Han Dynasty and Wei Shuo of Jin dynasty, mainly taught from their father or husband, influence Wenji Cai d by their family and the surrounding environment, whose work has real man momentum and different styles, while their work has women delicate and lovely artistic features. Because of the characteristics of the social nature and ancient social patriarchal ideology, women calligrapher’s works had not caught mainstream appraisal people’s attention. Through dig deep of female calligrapher’s representative works during the Han and Wei-jin dynastyi-jin, this issue find there are few works preserved due to the social changes in the shifting alliances. The author of many works are difficult to trace after Song, Qi, Liang and Chen regimes. Therefore, this study can only study existing calligrapher’s work at that time to analysis calligraphy learning, calligraphy creation, calligraphy art style, calligraphy achievements. We research from female perspective, caring for women, record and sort out female calligraphers book learning achievement. On the basis of historical data and relevant literature, this issue mainly adopt two methods: literature analysis and comparative study, to study and analysis female calligraphers’ literature and academic research of the Han and Wei-jin dynastyi-jin. We compared representative works and artistic style of two periods, basing on the modeled relationship with their context, and their teacher(students) to compare the style of calligraphy. Female calligraphers represented by Cai Wenji and Wei Furen had great importance of heritage and generate far-reaching impact on the calligraphy inherit.Going back through the historical records and lots of researches of female calligraphers during the Han and Wei-Jin Dynasties, this paper discussed 13 female calligraphers, and in further studied Cai Wenji(East Han dynasty) and Wei Shuo(Jin dynasty) and their works. Their family academic context, biography, master-apprentice relationship, the calligraphy art style, the representative works and the influence on later ages were studied in detail, and then the conclusion about the style feature and the artistic value of female calligraphers during the Han and Wei-Jin Dynasties was made in this paper. The artistic style of Cai Wenji was interpreted by analysing the <Wo Sheng Tie>. Based on the analysis of <Ming Ji Tie> and <Wei Shi He Nan Tie>, the Regular script style of Wei Shuo was confirmed, and it was also conclude that < Wei Shi He Nan Tie > was one of the only two remaining masterpiece. Moreover, <Bi Zhen Tu> made by Wei Shuo was discussed in this paper. In conclusion, this paper made a deeply research on the historical status and artistic value of female calligraphers during the Han and Wei-Jin Dynasties by the analysis of the female ’ s social activities, family status and education background. The conclusion was made that the female calligraphers made significant influence on the male calligrapher.Through research on female representative works of calligraphy, this issue state the important contribution female calligraphers made to the development of the art of calligraphy and calligraphy aesthetics from the aspects of the beauty of the mean of their calligraphy style, the beauty of lines,beauty tricks works, rhyme beauty and language beauty. By examining the studying and teaching process of female calligraphers of the Han and Wei-jin dynasty, this issue study the family education style of the Han dynasty and the form, characteristic and meaning of private school of the Wei-jin dynasty, summarize the significance and reference meaning to today’s calligraphy education. Finally, we state the practical significance of the female calligraphy of the Han and Wei-jin dynasty, from a practical point of view, and from four aspects: the cultural enrichment of the significance of learning calligraphy, ancient science and literacy learning for the role of calligraphy, the spirit of perseverance and having tradition and carrying forward traditional Chinese culture mission.
