A Study On The Naming Factors Of Ancient Novels

There are many factors influence the naming of ancient Chinese novels. Based on previous research, the paper’s writer study difference factors influenced naming a novel including ancient society, political, culture trend, and all paper in a view of "creation to culture diffusion".The first chapter makes "the concept of novel and novel named" as the core and this chapter analysis how writers’understanding of novels influence its naming, specificity divided into enlightenment view, entertainment view, and history view. The second chapter discussed the naming factor from commentator and bookshop owner. The two factors make the influence by itself characters-commentators by its "the human nature" and "individuality", and bookshop owner by its "commercial advertisement consciousness" and "product innovation". Other factors are researched in the third chapter, and examples, such as religion, politics, social esthetic, are given to study its significant influence to novels’naming. The last part summarized the common methods on the naming of ancient novels, use allusion technique as an example, to explore the relationship between the methods of naming a novel and the fiction theme, type category, and author’s novel concept.
