The folk songs and dances of the Lisu Nationality in Tengchong, Western Yunnanis art form highly integrated with music and dance. There are mainly two kinds: theone dancing along with singing called TIAO GA, the one dancing along with playingSanxian called SANTIAN Wu. The performance contains the long history of Lisu, avariety of folk custom, colorful daily life and so on. As a traditional enterment,it handed down from generation to generation enduring. TIAO GA is a kind of danceaccompanied with singing, speading plentiful tunes. The prestigious leader we calledGA TOU singed,and dancers accompanied. Its tunes heared about by word of month,and its lyrics had strict literary form and symbolic significance. So it lived upto the historical and cultural treasures which the Lisu people cherished. SANTIANWU, is a kind of dance wih playing “SANXIAN” which is an unique instrument. Itcontains free activity forms and rich contents. SANXIAN as the main instrument, therhythm can directly involve in refers, the singing content can tell stories andthe emotions can express their feelings. According to legend,the tunes hadseventy-two change, and a tune a dance, dance changes with tunes. These two typesof folk songs and dances in Tengchong Lisu region are saturated with abandon nationalecological factors. These two types of art forms, which hold variety of danceperformance contents, beautiful music melody, lyrics and plain language, are thereal embodiment of nation history as the existing way of life, the soul and spirit.In the paper,it would associate the dance form rooted in the folk withthe ecological cultural background by analyzing the characteristics of TIAO GA andSANXIAN WU. Based on the data from field investigation, we try to extract theecological implication characteristics focused on combing the flow pattern of folksongsand dances, toanalyse attached survival,competitive rivalry, symbioticrelationship, to strive for the aesthetic study of the Lisu folk songs and dancesin Tenchong.The paper had five parts included the introduction and four chapters.Theintroduction mainly expounded the selected topic basis, research status and research methods. The first chapter discusses the uniqueness of the Lisu folk songs anddances in Tengchong from the two aspects of national history and livingcontext.The second chapter focused on the research the ontology featureextraction of TIAO GA and SANXIAN WU. The third chapter as the emphasis of the thesis,analysed the ecological factor of songs and dances based on the extractionof morphological features.The fourth chapter combined with ecology and theinfluence of the musical form, and made the aesthetic research to find the laws ofliving,inheritance and development about the folk songs and dances.
