According to Simmel’s theory of modernity research and Kenzaburo Oe’s works The Strange Work, Lavish Are The Dead, Prize Stock, Nip the Buds, Shoot the Kids,The sexual man, A Personal Matter, The Silent Cry,The Flaming Green Tree and Flip, this thesis explore the human individual presence and salvation thought in the background of modern society, which were showed by Kenzaburo Oe’s novels. This paper attempt to extract these representative articles to analyze the exploration that from the initial confusion crazy to the travel finding the way and sense of self-redemption, and ultimately to "religions morality" inner self awakening awareness,which give a habitat to the soul.
