On The Revival Of Classical Photography

Daguerreotype, Wet-plate Process, Albumen Print and other alternative photography processes were the most important photography technology in 19 th century; those processes were mainly used by photographers. After photography began industrialization at the end of 19 th century, these processes were replaced in proper order and transformed into "outdated" technology. In the second half of the 20 th century, the art photography represent a revival of alternative photographic process phenomenon. Digital photography works are presente by electronic screen in the context of contemporary photography, but alternative photography process were not affected by the huge impacted in the field of eastern and western photography art, these turned artists thinking again about alternative photography process and start to use the complex, uncertain and personality processes. Digital technology also gives alternative photography process new blow at the same time. In China, contemporary art of photography become more pluralistic due with alternative photography process.
