During this time,represented by lattice,Gluck reformist pull open the prelude of opera reform. Gluck’s ultimate goal of opera reform is:music must serve for poetry,to service for the development of the plot.So he put Italian opera,defects such as removing all grandiose and procrastination.“Alceste”is Gluck’s second reform opera,its biggest characteristic is that the design of the whole opera plot are gradually unfolded in the conception closely music,dramatic conflict is more intense.This article embarks from Gluck’s opera reform to the heroine Alceste in the aria of the frist act of the 15“The river Styx’s death” as the main object of study,researchand analysis of the creation background,writing techniques and singing.
