As the most representative Neo-Confucianists of the Northern Song dynasty, the research of two-Chen’s "poems" theory shows an obvious tendency of science. This paper proceeds from the specific content of their "poetry", through the analysis and comparison of the demonstration, to reveal the main characteristics, dig the profound meaning and show the overall style as comprehensively as possible.This paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter mainly introduces the education background. This chapter is divided into two sections. The first section mainly outlines the academic atmosphere under the prevailing suspect resolution style. The second section mainly introduces the philosophical thought influencing their academic thoughts. Through the interpretation of Hu Yuan, Zhou Dunyi, Zhang Zai and other saints of philosophical thought of science, it shows their guidance and influence on their academic thought.The second chapter is the investigation on the content of two-Chen’s "poems" theory. This chapter is separated into two sections, mainly through the chart analysis to show the distribution of work involved in "poetry" two-way "Poems" content and theory, analyzing two-Chen’s "poems" theory as a whole.The third chapter is about the comparison between two-Chen’s "poems" theory and "poem" theory before the Tang Dynasty to reveal their inheritance and transcendence to former generation "poetry". This chapter is divided into three sections, the first section is the research of the following Confucius "poems" theory. The second section discusses the inheritance and development of Mao "poems" through the "poem" system and other aspects of their ability. The third section discusses the research content of Liuyi and focuses on the meaning of "Xing" through the inheriting the traditional theory.The fourth chapter is the study of connotation of two-Chen’s "poems" theory. This chapter is divided into three sections, the first section focuses on "poetry" study focuses on the expression of two-Chen manifestations of justice. The succeeding section mainly discusses the "poem" theory in the view of the character disposition justice. The third section mainly finds the connotation of two-Chen check between ceremony meaning through the ethics and law.
