He get experience from nature, break the rules, No past, no now,he use his own way,and he has the courage to innovate, blow a strong wind for The field ofpainting,make everyone feel new and fresh.Shi Tao had made great contribution to the genre offigure painting after“the Figure Painting Revitalization”and before the appearance of otherpainters’figure paintings,e. g. Wang ShiShen,Huang Shen, Jin Nong,Gao Xiang,Luo Pin,etc.Shi Tao’s own genius as well as his learning from the ancestors’experiences had enabled himto express his feelings through his works and act as an outstanding figure who contributed a lotfor the creation of figure paintings in the late Ming and early Qing dynas-ty and has a very highacademic value.Shi Tao’s figure painting embodies the spirit of innovation,Shi Tao’s figure painting comesfrom traditional,and is different from Predecessors,The Content of Shi Tao’s figure painting isRich and varied,The theme is wide,including the fairy and ordinary people,Shi Tao Can handlethem well. Middle-aged period went to NanJing Zen,travel to BeiJing for three years,his painting was ripe.In his later years after went back toYangzhou,then to the Tao professional painters emerge in Yangzhou painting, painting skills tendto perfection in one’s studies. The thought has greatly changed and developed by middle age,feeling and bold and unrestrained clear turn for good to go deep, seek new spiritual sustenance.This paper through the previous research in Shi Tao ’s insignificance cable leads to figurepainting traces, carried on the analysis of it.
