Xinjiang Capriccio is the piano works created by Chu Wanghua who isthe Chinese musician in1977. Through the ten-year catastrophe of CulturalRevaluation, the creative idea of composer is the survivor of the disasterwhich gradually recovers from the well of cultural bounds and ideologicalshackles. The country is gradually stepping into the development phasewith political stability and economic growth which has promoted thebooming of circle of literature and art and music circle. Under such acreation context, the musical thoughts of Mr. Chu is like the flutteringclouds that blow to the area of vast territory and abundant resources andcultural diversity with a pleasant breeze.The author is a postgraduate majored in piano. Coincidently, hecontacted the Xinjiang Capriccio and felt the nationalistic flavor in themusic as well as the superb composing techniques of the composer.Therefore, he carries out the study to expect to form the research modelof this works. This paper discusses from the composing background of theworks and it relates to the analysis on musical morphology. Finally, itanalyzes the technical treatment of this works combined with the majorof the author to experience the musical connotation of the works in orderto make the piano works with Chinese features have strong local stylesand be closer to the position of beauty.
