With the rapid development of Internet technology and the continually broadening of the network communication platform, cyber communication has formed a rich and diverse exchange situation. The network buzzwords, as the products of the network communication which is most concerned about and frequently used among numerous on-line languages, must have its own uniqueness. At present, there are many the researches studying from the angel of linguistics, culture, journalism and communication, as well as other interdisciplinary. As we all know each single perspective can only describe the mechanism and implied meaning of the network buzzwords at a certain level, but cannot grasp the whole picture of the network buzzwords from the overall perspective. In this paper, we try to comprehensively analyze network buzzwords from all levels of the network buzzwords by using Verschueren Pragmatic Perspective on Language.According to Verschueren Pragmatic Perspective on Language, which is about the deep studying of the language that can express the significance from various levels and advocating a comprehensive, integrated study of the complex and mysteries of language. Therefore, the Verschueren further defined pragmatics as "pragmatics is a comprehensive perspective on the such acts of using language from cognitive, social and cultural angel." I believe that the network buzzwords get more attention from the vast on-line languages and frequently and repeatedly used, must have its unique social meaning and cultural connotation. This paper selects network buzzwords as the research object, make full use of Verschueren Pragmatic Perspective perspective to try to comprehensively and in-depth show the overall language pragmatic characters of network buzzwords and the reason behind these phenomena.At the Introduction part, it is about the related concepts, research status, source of the corpus,and significance of the selected topic of "Internet buzzwords". In the second chapter, I use memes and adaptation theory to analyze concept of network buzzwords, the formation mechanism,the linguistics features and the characteristics of rhetoric. In chapter three I analysis the connotations mainly focusing on selected typical, representative cases from the cultural, social and cognitive perspective-depth, select the "My dad is Li Gang" among the network buzzwords, and among network pop styles I chosen the "Blue Wizard style" and "Taobao style" as a representative style to fully explain. Meanwhile, in this chapter I also chose which both are very popular and characteristic in recent years, called "Network idiom" and "Network gender category salutation", as the object of study.I will comprehensively describe and elaborate from the source, form, formation mechanism and culture and other aspects. The fourth chapter the I mainly from the point of time to keep a briefs view and Review of the origin and trends of the network buzzword in recent years, in order to take a clear contrast to presents a change trends of network buzzwords from the social and cultural connotations behind and make the relevant forecast. In the final chapter, we have drew a related conclusion based the overall paper and have given rationalization of pragmatic advice for the young people using the network buzzwords.
