A Study Of Huang Zhijuan 's Traditional Operas

Huang Zhijun who is a famous scholar, not only can write the script,but also pay attention to the stage in the Qing Dynasty.He created four dramas which named "yulunpao", "mengyangzhou","yinzhongxian","lanqiaoyi" and one legend which named "zhongxiaofu".On the basis of previous,further research on Huang Zhijun’s drama creation combining with his poetry creation will be conducted.The first chapter mainly supplements Zhijun’s family background,life and travel. Huang Zhijun was greatly influenced by his father HuangWenyuan,his brother HuangZhaozhang and his wife Wang,their understandings and supports gave him great confidence in the repeatedly failed expedition road. In addition, ChenYuanlong who gave him great help and guidance, was not only his master but also his teacher, friend and benefactor, gave him supports both financially and morally. Huang Zhijun met like-minded friends mainly in ChenYuanlong’s mansion.The second chapter studies the source material, the ideological implication and artistic characteristics of the four dramas, mainly introduces the stories of four gifted scholars Wang Wei, Du Mu, Zhang Xu,Pei Hang in Tang Dynasty, Connecting the author’s hardships in the expedition road, and analyzing of its ideological implication. HuangZhijun was learned,and he was familiar with traditional opera’s temperament,rol,stage and so on; which needed to be further studied.The third chapter studies the legend’s source material,the ideological implication and artistic characteristics. The academic have mixed evaluations on "zhongxiaofu".We can get the author’s connotation through the source of creation,and analyse its artistic characteristics by performance.
