Poetry is the oldest and most far-reaching literary style in Chinese classical literature.As the core style and classical paradigm for thousands of years,it has established a poetic aesthetic and lyrical tradition for Chinese literature that continues to this day.It plays an important role in the whole Chinese classical literature and cultural system.Chinese classical literature and art generally have the characteristics of "Poetic".Traditional opera combines the artistic achievements of traditional Chinese literature,music,singing and dancing,and has distinctive and profound poetic characteristics.As the traditional literature and art style with the most Chinese national characteristics,opera rose and flourished in the ancient times,especially in the Ming and Qing dynasties.The most representative and special opera style in this period is the legend of the Ming and Qing dynasties.The legends of the Ming and Qing dynasties inherited variety play and Nanxi,followed by local opera,they are characterized by high degree of literariness,literariness,standardization and systematization,and have made great achievements in literature,aesthetics and ideology."Ming and Qing Dynasties" is an important stage in the development of legends.Legendary operas in this period have distinct and diverse poetic characteristics,including the common characteristics of all classical operas,and at the same time,there are many unique characteristics of their times.On the premise of defining the purpose and significance of the study,this paper combs and analyzes the research history and present situation of the classical opera,the legend of the Ming and Qing dynasties,the poetic nature of the opera and so on,taking nearly 80 kinds of representative legendary works from the middle and late Ming and Jing dynasties to the middle and early period of Kangxi Dynasty of Qing Dynasty as the research object.On the basis of defining the basic concept,combing the history of legendary development and explaining the relationship between poetry and classical opera,a variety of research methods is comprehensively applied to carry out systematic research and further exploration on the related problems of its poetic characteristics.As far as stylistic norms are concerned,legends,as "qu",have innate rhyme attributes and poetic characteristics.The Ming and Qing dynasties are an important stage in the evolution of legendary styles.In this process,the trade-off between music and poetry,as an important proposition,has always been influenced by ancient poetics.However,the subject,opening and other contents of the legendary institutional structure,which are basically established at this time,are more directly reflected in the absorption of the poetic body.In terms of artistic expression,the legendary operas of Ming and Qing dynasties are full of poetry in character portrayal and atmosphere construction.It is more poetic in language expression and rhetorical application.The poem intervenes in various forms,and the plot is also promoted prominently.On aesthetic implication,Legendary Drama in Ming and Qing dynasties inherits and develops the long lyric aesthetic tradition of Chinese classical literature with poetry as the core.In the coordination of "toward to elegance" and "trend of pro fane",it shows a strong aesthetic pursuit of literati.However,the reasons for the formation of the above poetic characteristics of legends in Ming and Qing dynasties are complex and pluralistic.As far as social history and culture are concerned,it is influenced by profound social and historical changes in the middle and late Ming Dynasty,the down-of-the-angle of the literati,as well as the follow-up“Dynasty Alternation from Ming to Qing".In terms of literature and art itself,the experience accumulated in the literature of Yuan qu and other previous generations of qu style,tradition and the characteristics of the times in the literary world of Ming and Qing dynasties also plays an significant role.
