Yi Wen, also known as Kexiang and Jitang, was born in Sanyuan of Shaanxi Province and lived in the Qing Dynasty from the middle of Kangxi Period to the early Qianlong Period. He was not only an official, but also a painter and poet. As an official, Yi Wen had been Scholar, edit of the Wuying Temple, Jinxian Magistrate, Baoding Magistrate, the tao-tai of the Badao Dao and vice minister of the Court of Censors in Zhili Province, and Wu Xuan department officer in the Ministry of War since Kangxi Period the 52nd year; as a famous painter in Qing Dynasty, whose painting style was like Yuan Dong, Ran Ju and Gongwang Huang, he had learned from the famous painter Yuanqi Wang who lived in the early Qing Dynasty and was one of the ghost painters of him; as a poet, He had left more than two hundred poems, which had been cleared up by his descendants into the "Ji Tang Manuscript". This thesis takes Yi Wen and his collection "Ji Tang Manuscript" as the research object, and presents a comprehensive and systematic research on the life and family of Yi Wen, as well as the content and artistic features of "Ji Tang Manuscript".The contents of this thesis are mainly divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction to Yi Wen himself and his poems, as well as the research status about him from the academic circles and the significance of this research. Yi Wen had a rich life experience, so the research of him contributes to a comprehensive understanding of gentry group and poetry writing in the Qing Dynasty. However, there are no specialized research materials about him by now and thus still a big academic space in this area.The second part is the study about Yi Wen’s family and life. On the basis of combing a large number of the literatures, the family background of Yi Wen is presented in the first section, the textual research about the life experience of him is presented in the second section, the works of Yi Wen are presented in the third section, which mainly focus on the research about "Ji Tang Manuscript" and the fourth section describes Liangru Wen and "Wen’s Series".The third part is the research about the content of "Ji Tang Manuscript". Wen’s poetry is extensive and full of sincere feelings, which is very delicate and readable. In order to fully show the poetry style of Wen’s portry, the poems are firstly divided into the following categorys:friends responding, painting, natural scenery, and lyric poems according to the subject matter of poetry; then concrete analysis of the situation and the ideological content of each type of poem creation is presented.The fourth part is about the artistic features of "Ji Tang Manuscript". The most characteristic poetic style and rhetoric of Wen’s poetry are selected and analyzed in order to show the unique style of poetry creation and artistic techniques. In the aspect of the creation style, Yi Wen was deeply influenced by literati like Shizhen Wang et al., whose works revealed tender and gentle royal style; in the aspect of poetry rhetoric, Yi Wen was good at the use of antithesis and allusion, which made the poems exquisite and elegant.
