Cartoon is an art form loved by children, occupy an important place in the lives of children. China also attaches great importance to penetrate the core values of education in China cartoons. Our cartoon once had remarkable achievements in the 1980s-90 years, China’s animation experienced a period of downturn. After 2000, the policy support, development of China’s cartoon presents a scene of prosperity, the development of animation emergence of new features, such as the emergence of audiences for different age cartoons, such as preschool cartoon,and the theme has become more diverse. However, in comparison with the United States under preschool animation, there are still many obvious shortcomings, the public opinion of China in recent years also criticized animation, particularly parents of many preschoolers value of education cartoon feel deep concern. To solve these problems, the educational value of this paper as a starting point to compare the two countries early childhood cartoon type features and differences in the value of education.In this paper, the two countries for 3-6 years old children’s cartoon for the analysis of the object, by selecting four typical Chinese and American animation, made on the type of match, using analysis method works intensively analyzed the Sino-US cartoon the type and characteristics of common, and differences, but the differences are important.First, there are significant differences in the type of animation in general is not able to meet the needs of children of all aspects of development, songs, stories and language educational cartoons too, other types of animation category is not very rich; and animated educational content in general is not enough.Second, there are the obvious differences in the narrative method, embodied in the narrative core- plays in the design differences with the United States, the story is no good idea choreography; plot is also not reasonable, not compact, and even some stories The plot is contrary to the logic of reality; on the plot details of the deal, especially the grasp of the conflict seem bland.
