A Study On The Influence Of The "Language" On The Paintings Of The Meticulous Figures In The Tang Dynasty

There are unique aesthetic and historical values in Chinese traditional fine brushwork of women figure. Female figures first became an independent and vivid aesthetic object in Tang Dynasty. The paintings of beautiful women in this period got rid of the common utilitarianism and narratives and established a peculiar aesthetic characteristic and a system of painting language, which had a profound influence on Chinese traditional fine brushwork painting of both after Tang Dynasty and of contemporary era and also represented a fusion of time and space.Therefore, through a study of the system of painting language of Chinese traditional fine brushwork of women figure in Tang Dynasty at its peak and an exploration of the painting language system in Chinese contemporary fine brushwork painting, this paper provides an analysis on the influence of Chinese traditional fine brushwork of women figure on contemporary Chinese fine brushwork figure painting.The paper tries to interprets the traditional factors in contemporary fine brushwork figure paintings through a functional perspective of the painting itself, then provides the solutions to the problems existing in contemporary fine brushwork figure paintings in China. These problems include a lack of tradition, cultural background and the characteristics of Chinese painting due to a fast development of contemporary fine brushwork figure paintings.The academic significance of this paper lies in its reinterpretation and study of the system of painting language in fine brushwork of women figure in Tang Dynasty and a review of the heritage and development of traditional painting language system. The findings suggests that through the recognition and protection of this a unique form of painting, Chinese traditional fine brushwork women figure painting can solve some problems in contemporary fine brushwork figure painting, and has a positive guidance and practical significance on the development and innovation of contemporary fine brushwork figure painting.
