A Study On The Initial Sand Table Of College Students In Perfectionism

This study was conducted by research on the perfectionism tendency of college students, collect, analysis and compare the initial sandtray of some subjects who have perfectionism tendency, to get t he specific differences between perfectionist and non-perfectionist, and the different types of perfectionist. Summarize and analyze the common characteristics and personality which performanced in initial sandteay, provide information and clues for college students mental health education and counseling related work. Research methods: use the " Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale " to survey three college students, On this basis, choose the group of perfectionist and non-perfectionist,collected their initial sandtray to analyze characterizes, And reported detailed analysis of the typical cases. The results show that:(1) There are significant differences between different professional type, grade, academic level college students, and there are differences in the dimensions of perfectionism.(2) There are significant differences in the total score and dimensions of perfectionism between non-perfectionists, positive and negative perfectionists. Nonperfectionists, total score and perfectionism dimension scores were significantly lower than the positive and negative perfectionists. The negative perfectionism college students, scores on others perfectionism dimension, emotional dimension, cognitive and behavioral dimensions, high standard subscales, adaptability subscale and total scores were significantly higher than the positive perfectionism college students.(3) There are significant differences between the initial sandtray of perfectionists and non-perfectionists, involve the use of prototype, sand moved situation, self-image, theme performance and some scenes.(4) Different types of perfectionist tendencies initial sandtray has its own unique characteristics. There are significant differences between the initial sandtray of positive and negative perfectionist in production time, sand moved situation, self-image, theme performance. The energy performance, openness,overall integration in initial sandtray of negative perfectionist were weaker than positive perfectionist.
