Poetics in the Southern Song Dynasty is a particular product under the cultural context in the era. On one hand, it is affected by Song school inheriting and extending poetics in the Northern Song Dynasty. On the other hand, scholars’ changing conscious changes poem in the Southern Song Dynasty----its ontology trends change from "Li(Reason)" to give priority to "Qing(Sentiment)" under the context of a specific era. Scholars in the Southern Song Dynasty have been facing the contradictory between self-restraint and spiritual freedom of Neo-Confucianism. In the poetics development process, because scholars in Southern Song Dynasty constantly reflected and questioned coupled with commercial prosperity and thought liberation, poetics ontology in Southern Song Dynasty finally completed the reversion to Chinese traditional poetry’s theme-- sentiment. This paper attempts to analyze the preparation for the cultural context of Southern Song Dynasty, changes of literary forms, the rise of literary groups, individual representatives of poets at that time to grasp the rheological poetics ontology in the Southern Song Dynasty.This paper tries to show the changing trends of poetics ontology in the Southern Song Dynasty by a diachronic way: from the rupture of "Li(Reason)" to the reversion of "Qing(Sentiment)". The chapter one of the paper discusses reasons for weakening behind the prosperity of Neo-Confucianism in the Southern Song Dynasty, school internal differences and poetic dominated by Neo-Confucianism which bring misshapen creation predicting poetics ontology based on "Li(Reason)" began to break down. Chapter two analyzes the literary trends in the Southern Song Dynasty,represented by Four Poets of the Southern Song Dynasty, the scholars at that time reflected the weaknesses of poetics focused on "Li(Reason)" and began to rebel former prosody, so poetics began to took off the coat of Neo-Confucianism, sentiment ontology is on the rise. The third chapter focuses on the poets groups who created poets by sentimental ontology derived from civil culture in the Southern Song Dynasty. The fourth chapter completes the theory of sentimental ontology by analyzing three poetical works in the Southern Song Dynasty.Through these four chapters, the author hopes to change people’s misunderstandings for poetics and Scholars in Southern Song Dynasty for a long time.They are not confined to a strong academic and no emotional. A brief dynasty has thriving commercial and cultural contentions, scholars in the Southern Song Dynasty use their personal spoken power to change the poetics trends of the times, and their poetic orientation has a great influence on future generations. For the sentimental ontology in the Southern Song Dynasty, this is the era of cultural prosperity and literati-conscious.
