Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin is a great pianist and composer of Poland and one of the most important figures in the Polish music history. He is also recognized as one of the most outstanding representatives of the Romantic era in the 19 th century. He was once praised as a “Piano Poet” and was an excellent representative of romantic music, making huge contributions to the piano music history. The past comment wrote: “The contribution of Chopin to piano is just like the contribution of Schubert to the song circle. ”We can find out the important position of Chopin in the music history from this sentence. All the piano music works of Chopin have already undoubtedly become the most classic ones in the piano music history. These works are still played by pianists in the music halls around the world and still loved by various ethnic groups in the world. Missing his motherland and the deep memory of the Polish people enabled Chopin’s music to be filled with patriotism. His imagination of love produced the Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor. This touching concerto from the bottom of his heart was written by Chopin to his first love Konstancja G?adkowska. Since Chopin composed this song when he fell in love with her, so the rhythm of Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor is extremely graceful and full of imaginations to lovers and the longing for love.This paper has briefly introduced the life and composting characteristics of Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin, summarized the creation background and musical form structure of Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor, and prioritized the analysis of the music style and aesthetic understanding of movements of this concerto. Based on the experience summarized by the author from real performance and practice process, the paper has conducted a series of analyses of the detailed playing skills such as performance style, rubato and pedal. Meanwhile, the author has become more familiar with the tone, key touch and music style of this piece of works and can improve the author’s own playing ability through such analysis.
