"Jin Ping Mei" And The Ming Dynasty 's Sexual Culture

The plum in the golden vase is the first novel in the history of Chinese literature done by individuals independent, it also have special significance in the history of ancient Chinese sex culture. In the long history of development, the Chinese nation forms sexual attitudes,sexual customs,sexual behavior methods, and there is about sex knowledge, art, ethics and all sorts of social institutions, such as chastity, heirs concept, surgery room, literary and the institution of marriage, etc., are all reflected in the book. The courage to face the novel is a major theme when we study this novel.As an important text, the novel provided necessary history information to make the research of Chinese ancient cultural. This paper intends to use five chapters( include three parts)to elaborate this novel: the first part is also the first chapter, the purpose is to deduce the deep social causes why the novel was born with the help of historical fiction; the second part includes three chapters,relate the cultural history of the concept of sex, virginity content concept, heirs concept, etc.Certainly,it is not exhaustive,combining literature and history as possible; and the third part use for expound the distortion of sex separately, this part have a cross-integration with the front two parts, but can not be confused. Ancient Chinese Sex Culture is also profound, who has been not well received by the world to say, this study aims to rename the novel, as the supplement for previous while open the way for future generations.
