In this paper, the research status of domestic students pragmatic competence is the basic and the frame, the survey involved range of pragmatic competence. Pragmatic competence as a starting point, design questionnaire, pragmatic situation for students learning Chinese in-class tests, to find foreign students pragmatic aspects of the obvious problems. Statistical investigation data, according to the results from the overall, Chinese students pragmatic competence is not high, in terms of different grade, the early, intermediate students’ pragmatic competence is low, most of the students of grade is low; Advanced students’ pragmatic competence is uneven, the distribution is uneven. Advanced students’ pragmatic competence in general pragmatic language ability is lower than social pragmatic competence.The test for quantitative statistics of survey results, the students in this questionnaire that classifies the phenomena of pragmatic failure, and analyze the cause of the error. Finally, this article proposed from four aspects: cultivating students pragmatic competence. In compiling textbooks, teaching contents, teaching methods, language testing and its enlightenments to the teaching of investigation and research, it is concluded that how to effectively cultivate students pragmatic competence in Chinese. In addition, the domestic and foreign students Chinese textbooks "boya Chinese" as an example, the "request" "reject" three aspects "praise" pragmatic knowledge arrangement situation investigation, research and analysis results show that the teaching material of pragmatic knowledge recurrence rate is low, improper arrangement order slightly.
