Art To Life

With the development of the western art in the 20th century, works of art can be any objects which are entitled by art an artists can be anyone. The boundaries between art and non-art become increasingly blurred, indicating that the boundaries between them are broken. Art in twentieth century are coming from reproduction to the expression, finally to the pure "making art for art" with the art achieved not being the art at all. That is to say, the art is the simple concept with which, it is changing our interpretation of it in the development process of art. Art is no more than a object but an art concept expression. The 20th century which is dubbed as "the age of extremes" is not only presenting the rapid development of science, industry and other aspects, but also bringing a lot of problems, all of which provide vast space of creation for artists to make creative thinking. Modern art has undergone the situation of binary oppositional pattern which is then transferred to the coexistence in the process of being the post modern arts. Art has walked down from the high altar to the livelihood of the people by experiencing the self liberation of the subject of art and the deconstruction of traditional arts. There is no specific theme for art, but it is walking toward the artist’s unique concept expression. If we want to understand the real art, we must understand the art based on the concept of it and we must put the art into the specific historical context so that we can find art in life.
