This thesis attempts to discuss how to build a new thinking coordinates as an individual designer, based on the current situation of networked and honeycombed societies. The futurist Alvin Toffler wrote in his masterpiece "the Third Wave" published in 1980:There are a lot of people, they are so worried about the future. It is hard for them to imagine living any other way, not to mention creating a new civilization, they are looking forward to the future as always." But the reality is hard to satisfy, no human being in the past eras like the one today are intensively experiencing the dramatic changes of the times in such a short period, and undergoing the variety of "discomfort" caused by them. It is no exception for designers. If we are asked which one is worse, the social status the designer facing twenty-years ago or the one today. We may be unable to judge, because winter always is some peoples’s winter, likewise, cruelty always is some one’s cruelty. The impact of the invention of Internet on human life is far more than the decline of the publishing industry, the revolution of traditional service industry and the breaking of the monopoly system of giant enterprises, because internet eventually will bring us an completely different economic and social form from the industrial civilization. With the progress of the times, somebody always gets left behind, but someone always creates his times. In flat world of the Internet, the individual regains the opportunity to speak:from "customer" to "user", big brands almost perpetually worry about being abandoned by their increasingly demanding consumers; From the single-purpose industrial products to the Internet making personalized needs possible, more and more start-up brands and new companies get the opportunity to grow; From the monopoly of the enterprise to the first appearance of the sharing economy, not even to mention the Internet of Things near at hand. But obviously, the invention of technology can not bring us into a better world, while the world changes, which also is testing that how we use this opportunity to change the world. So how the design can break up the barriers defined by its industry? Probably breaking through the limitation of identity, is just a start.
