The Application Of Folk Songs To The Teaching Of Singing In Our College

In solfeggio teaching, the selection of solfeggio materials is extremely important. Concerning the sight-singing technique material selection in our college, though the compiled or created folk songs hold the great proportion, the sight-singing songs compiled or re-created from North Shaanxi folk songs are relatively scarce. As one of the most representative song forms in North Shaanxi folk songs, Xin Tian You is characterized by listening and appreciation as well as practicality in the sight-singing teaching. Hence, the author took our college as an example to study how to apply Xin Tian You in North Shaanxi folk songs into sight-singing teaching.The author divided the thesis into three parts:Part one: significance of folk song application in sight-singing teaching as well as the development history of sight-singing teaching materials in our college;Part two:general situation of North Shaanxi folk songsPart three : application of Xin Tian You in North Shaanxi folk songs in sight-singing teaching in our college as well as how to conduct compilation or recreation on Xin Tian You so as to apply to sight-singing technique.
