The Theoretical Construction Of Social Governance In The View Of Historical Materialism

This paper takes the historical materialism as the theoretical view, Combined with Marxist Theory of Social Organism, Marxist Theory of Civil Society, Marxist Theory of Communication, taking social governance as the research object, to clarify the concept, principle, structure, ideas, system and practice of social governance from the perspective of historical materialism, and to reflect the actual situation and development path of China’s social governance integrated with Chinese realities.This paper is mainly divided into the following four parts:The first chapter is the introduction, mainly introduced the origin and significance of social governance, as well as the related research of domestic and foreign.In the second chapter, sorted outthe social governance thought in Marxist classical historical materialism, discussedMarxist Theory of Social Organism, Marxist Theory of Civil Society, Marxist Theory of Communication respectively.The third chapter based on the above theory,constructed the theory of social governance in the perspective of Marxist contemporary historical materialismfrom six aspects of the concept, principle, structure, concept, system and practice of the social governancerespectively.In the fourth chapter, discussed China’s social governance since the 1949, focusing on the current situation of China’s social governance and the development path of social governancecombined with China’s reality.The characteristic of this paper is to highlight the "Modernity" of Marxisthistorical materialism, combined with the characteristic of the times to interpret the social governance of historical materialism creatively and to construct the theory of social governancebased on that interpretation. Scholar He Lai thinks that to understand the "Modernity" of Marx’s philosophy is to recognize the possibility of Marx’s theory is higher than its reality.In the research of reality, from the German scholar Habermas’s Reconstruction of Historical Materialism, to the domestic scholar Yang Geng’s Reconstruction of the Crisis: the modern interpretationofhistorical materialism, both of them highlight the "contemporary" of the theoretical study. To grasp the historical materialism of Marxism in the contemporary era is an important guarantee to maintain the vitality of Marxist theory, which makes it more effective guidance of social practice.In general, social governance, which in the perspective of historical materialism is based on the core value of fairness and to considerthe society as an organism, emphasizing the systematic and the process of social governance based on humanism, and paying attention to the role of multiple subjects in social governance.
