On The Creative Features And Singing Experience Of Bellini 's Little Aria

Bellini Vincenzo is regarded as one of the representative romantic musician of19 th century. He made first appearance by his early work“Adelson e Salvini”and“Bianca e Fernando”, “Il Pirata”written in 1827 had a successful show in Milena Kara Opera House; then he won the world reputation by his work“I Puritani”in 1833.Therefore, Bellini’s writing field is mainly concentrated in the opera aspect. But at the same time in the producing of art songs, the composer also has many contributions.The art song of “vaga luna che inargenti”widely promoted.During my process of master degree study, I was so attracted by the unique art style of Bellini after I learned his works as“Vaga luna che inargenti”“Dolente immagine di fille mia”“Il fervido desiderio”“Malinoonia, Ninfa gentile”“La farfalletta”and etc, and started the study on Bellini’s art songs. 19 art song works are included in ‘The selection of Bellini’s art songs’, which contains ‘Three Ariettas’ and ‘Six Ariettas’. This paper is a detailed analysis on the features of Bellini’s arietta works and the experiences of singing.With the starting point of three ariettas“II Fervido desiderio”“Dolente immagine di fille mia““Vaga luna che inargenti“, singers could have a deeper understanding of Bellini and grasp the singing style accurately which would lay the foundation of studying opera arias of Bellini. Through considerable reading on the literatures, the author found that there is no lack of the studying result on the art songs of Bellini which inspires and helps a lot. Meanwhile, base on the previous studies, the author analyzes the ariettas characteristics of Bellini’s works through the features of musical structure, melody, accompaniment, musical language, and the Arias works of the other composers in the same period; and make a further exploration on the ariettas of Bellini combined with the self singing practices.
