“Ji X You(Ye/Qie) Y” is a structure format which is often used in modern Chinese spoken language.In previous studies,scholars mostly focus on the analysis of“Ji X You Y” and “Ji X Ye Y”,and research mainly from the semantic angle,rarely research “Ji X Qie Y”.The study is less,which contrast the three constructions,so this paper will make the detailed description and explanation from the syntactic,semantic and pragmatic plane.Overall,the first half part of this paper mainly researches three constructions from the syntax,semantics and pragmatics the three plane as a case study,later still compares the three constructions from the syntax,semantics and pragmatics,then observes the derivational mechanism and motivation of the three constructions.Chapter one mainly introduces the origin of the topic, the research status and the significance of this study,the scope of research, research methods,a brief description of the source of the corpus.Chapter two mainly makes the detailed description and explanation about “Ji X You Y”,from the syntax, semantics and pragmatics,and study the syntactic structure and semantic relations of the two constituents which which are connected by “Ji X You Y”. Afterwards,the research studies the structure from the syntactic function and pragmatic functions.Chapter three explores the syntactic distribution and semantic relations of the two constituents,researches the syntactic function of “Ji X Ye Y”,finally explores the specific pragmatic value of the construction as a common structure type in modern Chinese.Chapter four, “ Ji X Qie Y ” is studied in detail,from syntax,semantics and pragmatics three aspects.Chapter five,according to the previous case studies, this part roundly compares the three constructions from the syntactic structure,syntactic functions,semantic relations and pragmatic function and value,and study the similarity and diversity of them.The sixth chapter mainly examines the derivative mechanism and motivation of the three constructions, because of the conceptual integration and assimilative elaboration three constructions develop,expand and become the common ones in modern Chinese.The seventh chapter is the conclusion part,summarizes the full text.
