College students are standing on a turning point in their life. College students’ mental health has been a focused area of psychological research for a longtime.Studies have shown that sense of coherence, life rhythm and mental healthare closely related. This study followed 1776 college students of sense of coherence, life rhythm and mental health to invest their development and analyze how different life rhythm, sense of coherence effect on mental health. We use SOC-L9, Rhythm, Positive Mental Health Scale-9 to measure college students’ sense of coherence(SOC),life rhythm for three years. The Rhythm scale include circadian rhythm and social rhythm.Conclusion(1)The SOC is correlated with mental health of three years and can predict them.(2)Each year the circadian rhythm and social rhythm are both correlated with mental health significantly.(3)Life rhythm can only predict mental health of the year, while the mental health can both influence and predict mental health.(4)The mental health of college students grew significantly in three years.(5)Every year circadian rhythm and social rhythm changed significantly, circadian rhythm was more regular in lower grades while social rhythm was more regular in grade 2& 3.(6)Students with different sense of coherence have different development trends of mental health. The higher SOC, the more stability of the mental health. The results showed that the mental health of students grew significantly each year. It helps to keep the steady development of mental health while to improve college students’ sense of coherence. Whether having a regular rhythm of life is the index of college students’ mental health.
