As a midia between man and gods, the wizard have been produced earily. In the ancient society of our country, the wizard has played a very important role. The more ancient times it was, the higher status the wizard has been. In the pre Qin Period, the wizard’s status has undergone a process of decline. In the last years of the East Han Dynasty, the wizard’s functions have diviced into diffirent functional areas in the acuteness and fluctuant society. Because of the rise of Taoism and the blow by rulers, the itcher’s development has been limited.In the structure, this article mainly divides into four parts. The Study is mainly aimed at the wircher witch active in the period between the end of the Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period. The concrete analysis is:Firstly, we mainly sort out the Wizard’s development from Pre-Qin Dynasty to Han Dynasty of China. They are the political leaders in the Shang Dynasty and the ruler’s helper during Chou Dynasty. During the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Period, the titcher’s status were doubted. During Qin and Han periods, wizards are divided into two kinds that one becomed the official, one becomed the practitioner. As the result,their power has been readuced.Secondly, we mainly analyzed the basic characteristics of wizards and witchcraft during the late Han Dynasty and Three Kingdoms period. During this period, wizards experienced a folk process, Their position was further reduced, their members became civilians. In this period,their witchcraft rituals became more standardized and simple.Third, we have mainly studied the functions of the wizard. During this period, witchcraft functions are: sacrifice and rain ritual, medical witchcraft, divination, funeral witchcraft, Curse of witchcraft and so on.Fourth, we mainly explored the development space of the wizard between the late Han Dynasty Three Kingdoms period of development.
