Adhering to agriculture-oriented thought for thousands of years, China inherits life and character of farmers, growing on this thick and vast land and living day after day, year after year. However, turbulence and reform since the 20 t h century have slowly and undoubtedly permeated into village, into every corner of this land, into farmers? blood inherited for thousands of years, showing life phenomena and presenting joys and sorrows of human repeatedly on this land. Undoubtedly, changes of this land are worth being explored and recorded; farmers living on this land should be explored and concerned. Farmers’ Trilogy of Mr. Zhao Defa is just an excellent works focusing on villages in modern times. Based on intensive reading, combined with research methods such as cultural research, ethical research, literary research, etc., this paper analyses the theme of Trilogy in order to deeply explore the rich connotation. Analyze the author?s thought, interpret his humanity position and make reflections, make research on the practical significance of the author?s thought and judge the meaning and value of this literature creation in the history of literature.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction, main body and conclus ion. The introduction clarifies the significance of the topic, and briefly analyses the research current status of this topic and introduces the research methods for this topic. The main body of the text interprets the works and the author, from three aspects. Through the interpretation of the triple topic, analysis of the relationship between the themes, and exploration the realistic significance these three aspects, the first part preliminary discuss important value and literature significance of "Farmers Trilogy" s conception, from combing the themes to grasp the works? context.
