The Theoretical Study Of Aristotle 's Soul

The thesis tries to use the view of actualisation in Aristotle to explain the view of the soul in Aristotle, the final purpose is that making the view of the soul in Aristotle clear. It is not only a concept of metaphysics, but also a concept of ethic, and it is a concept which links up the first principle and the idea of human-being. It is to solve the question that Greece philosophy take from birth and Aristotle use the view of actual to explain the concept of the soul.The thesis is consist of three part to discuss the actual of the soul in Aristotle. The first part to explain the comment of Aristotle about the view of philosophers before him, to state origin about the actual of the soul; the second part is the most important part in the thesis, this part will explain the theory system about the actualization of the soul and the construction of the view. First of all is to state the analysis and rebuild of Aristotle to his prior’s view on metaphysics, and to establish his own basic point on metaphysics. Use it as a tool to explain the concept of the soul, further to explain each part of the soul to be actual and the soul as one to be actual in Aristotle, and finally to state the goal of actualization of soul is live in a good life.The third part discusses the goal of the soul is life, further discusses merit and weakness of the view of the soul in Aristotle, in this part. The view of the soul in Aristotle has a great influence, he discusses the view of the soul with his metaphysics, effecting all western philosophy and culture after him. But, there is so many points which need us to further discuss.
