A Study On The Structure And Performance Of Music In Lachmaninov 's Music Momio

Sergei Vassilievitch Rachmaninoff is a great composer and pianist in the late nineteenth and twentieth. Rachmaninoff worked hard in his early time, and showed his excellent talent and musical personality, which had built a solid foundation for his future work. Moment Musical Op.16, which was created in 1987, has been considered by himself as a turning point in his composer career, which is also the essence of his early work. There are six parts of the whole song, which require the players to have very high level skill including not only the support of solid technique but also a great devotion of emotion.This paper emphasizes the analysis of the first song of Moment Musical Op.16, which explores Rachmaninoff’s structural logic through the construction analysis, and explores his musical language through the harmony analysis. Finally, upon the foundation of the theory, we analyze his playing skill, and emphasize the introduction of the difficulties of his skill in piano works.
