Tchaikovsky was a very famous composer of the Romantic and nationalism music in the second half of the the 19 th century, who was very well—known in the world for creating beautiful and moving molodies. “Dumka” was one of his few piano works with separate headings. Which was created by Tchaikovsky late in his life. It was also the period that his creative techniques reched a high maturity. The melody of a work is the most true portraiture in the composers mind. As one of the most important means of music performance. In addition, it impressed the audience most in their mind The thesis regards melodies as the breakthrough point it anolyses deeply each music elements of the theme melody works and non—theme. Melody works to explore the characterictice of the melodies, in order to make the work structure come intu view more clearly. Meanwhile it will provide reference and theoretical support for more people who study, Tchaikovsky’s piano music.
