Analysis And Research On Bruckner's Sixth Symphony

Anton Bruckner is one of the representatives of the late romantic composers.His music draws lessons from the classical creation techniques and combines the composition techniques of the romantic period to form his own creative personality.The author wants to take his Symphony No.6 as the main research object,and make a relatively comprehensive analysis of the melody,tonality,harmony,polyphony,orchestration,musical form and structure of the symphony,so as to study the characteristics of creative techniques in the work,and summarize Bruckner's creative rules.This thesis consists of eight parts.The main content of the introduction is about the topic selection basis,research purpose,research significance and literature review at home and abroad.The first chapter mainly introduces Bruckner's background,life and creative experience,and briefly introduces Bruckner's Symphony No.6.The second chapter mainly analyzes the theme of Bruckner's Symphony No.6,from the development of the theme and the characteristics of the theme.The development of theme includes the way of theme,motivation and means of theme development.The characteristics of theme include the characteristics of theme style and theme melody.The third chapter mainly analyzes the polyphonic organization of Bruckner's Symphony No.6.It includes two aspects,the main harmonic aspect,mainly from the complexity of harmony analysis,including the use of brucken's high stacked chords,the use of parallel harmony,the use of linear harmony and out of tune harmony.In the aspect of polyphony,it analyzes the Polyphony skills existing in the works,including the contrast polyphony of melody,imitation polyphony and reflection form.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the composition,timbre application and texture structure of Bruckner's Symphony No.6,so as to better understand Bruckner's orchestration skills and characteristics.The fifth chapter mainly analyzes the mode diversity and religious aspects of Bruckner's Symphony No.6,including alternate mode,pentatonic mode,compound mode and church mode.The sixth chapter mainly analyzes and studies the musical structure of Bruckner's Symphony No.6,and explores the composer's personality and boldness from the unconventional aspects of each movement.The final conclusion is a summary of Bruckner's sixth symphony,so as to have a more in-depth and comprehensive understanding of Bruckner's creative characteristics.
