Shamanism is a primitive religion of ancient worship gods and not a strictly religious. The basic idea is to believe in Shamanism is everything has a soul, believe in the existence of gods and ghosts, It is believed that the changes of human and nature are caused by God and ghost. The religious belief of the Uighur has changed several times, but any religion into Uighur society, are not able to completely cleared out Shamanism from Uighur society and spiritual life, What is more characteristic is when Islam into the Uighur society, After a long^ struggle and running-in, gradually the Shamanism and Islam have blends, form a unique Uighur belief system. Monotheism and resolutely oppose idolatry of Islam with Nature worship, polytheistic worship of Shamanism are come together. It has to say that in the world’s cultural changes is a very unique phenomenon, because both were completely the opposite spirit world. In the Uighur Society, Uighur shamans mainly exist in the Uighur rural society, In the Uighur society known as Baxshi, The Uighur village Baxshi mainly exists in the treatment of the disease. Baxshi by treating the villagers patient exorcism to provide services for civil society, has certain significance to the civil society. This article is from the perspective of Baxshi treatment. The case investigate of Baxshi treatment in Turpan area, investigate its treatment of ceremony. Mainly want to try on the basis of religious anthropology and medical anthropology and through the survival status of a typical Uighur rural Baxshi to description the religious life of people in contemporary Uighur Society. Discuss the survival soil of Baxshi, Baxshi how to interact with the Uighur society and be able to survive, according to this answer how to realize the coexistence of Islam and Shamanism. In the face of the social and cultural changes, Shamanism and Islam how to make debugging and adapt, how will be the results and prospects.The first chapter of this paper mainly introduces the related research results and the meaning of the Baxshi and foundation of existence.Baxshi with Islamic soul theory combines the unique spirit and the idea of ghosts explain to patients with the source of the disease, healing ceremony are all in the name of Allah, some of spells in ceremony are some scriptures of the Koran. So the rural people easily accept and identity. This is also the basis for the existence of the Baxshi. The second chapter mainly introduces the significance, research methods and basis points. The third chapter mainly is detailed introduced in this paper the whole process of the Baxshi healing ceremony, according to the classification of treatment way. The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the Baxshi healing ceremony, analysis the symbolic meaning of the number, color, materials, instruments etc. in the ceremony. Then with Turner proposed threshold concept to analysis the healing ceremony. Finally, discussed the function of Baxshi treatment ceremony. The fifth chapter mainly discusses the social cognition of the Baxshi. Including Baxshi self cognition, patients’perceptions of the Baxshi, the religious people view of the Baxshi, social perceptions of the Baxshi. The sixth chapter discusses the social function and the prospect of Baxshi.Baxshi healing process is not simply physiological adjustment, is also a reflection of the social reality of the process of cultural reconstruction, this reflects the Xinjiang Uighur folk culture of the active process of a side. Although Baxshi treatment only exists in the rural areas, But it is also a kind of traditional culture to maintain and continue. Although religious attitude to Baxshi treatment is opposition, considered to be contrary to Islam, but Shaman culture has penetrated in all aspects of the Uighur people’s life, has become part of the Uighur culture. Unique adaptability and flexibility of Shaman culture, the diversity and inclusion of Uighur culture, make the Shaman culture and Baxshi will not easily disappear in the Uighur Society.
