A Study On The Correspondence Between "One Floor", "Weeping Red Pavilion" And "Dream Of Red Mansions"

Inzhannaxi, one of the famous Mongolian writers in modern times, wrote his two masterpieces One Floor and Cry Red Pavilion, and these two works were greatly influenced by Cao Xueqin’s Dream of Red Mansions, which is one of the four greatest classical novels. The reason is that the literature images of Inzhannaxi’s two works were so similar to those in Cao Xueqin’s. This thesis is to study correspondently the family Ben in One Floor and Cry Red Pavilion and family Jia in Dream of Red Mansions, and their affinity relationship. And this thesis aims to reveal the power of influence of Dream of Red Mansions on Inzhannaxi’s works and prove his originality.This thesis consists of five parts:introduction, three chapters and conclusion. The part of introduction gives the significance of the subject, related previous researches on, purpose, methodology and significance of this research. Chapter 1, studying the older generations in family Ben and Jia, points out that although the writer Inzhannaxi’s images of older generation were from Dream of Red Mansions, there were changes on the personality, thought and attitudes. Chapter 2, studying the images of young men and young ladies in two families, points out that Inzhannaxi chose some images of Dream of Red Mansions to serve as his image model. Chapter 3, studying the images in affinity relationship in two families, Inzhannaxi did a rearrangement to these images and their personalities. The part of conclusion, although Inzhannaxi was influenced by Dream of Red Mansions as well as images in One Floor and Cry Red Pavilion were modeled by it, Inzhannaxi’s originality could not be ignored. And the reasons will be illustrated in this thesis.
