On Du Fu 's Kuizhou' S Hot Poems

This thesis is focused on Du Fu’s Kure poetry during Kuizhou. Basing on the analysis of creation background and content of Kure poetry, the thesis mainly discusses its value in the history both in two aspects: artistic inheriting and artistic innovation. In addition, the thesis also analyze Du Fu’s mentality and the change of Tang dynasty that reflected by Kure poetry. This thesis is divided into three parts,introduction, three chapters of main body and conclusion.The first chapter: introduction. This chapter will explain the definition of Kure poetry, and the value of discussing Du Fu’s Kure poetry. In the meantime, this part will also summarize the research status those years.The second chapter will introduce Kure poetry in general, like creation time,number and content. After that, it will be divided in two sections to introduce the background and content of Kure poetry in detail. The first section introduces creation background of Kure poetry through two aspects: internal environment and external environment. The internal environment refers to the natural environment of Kuizhou and the social environment after An Lushan Rebellion. The internal environment refers to both living and creation condition of Du Fu in Kuizhou. According to the different themes of Kure poetry, the second section divides Kure poetry into three aspects, which respectively are description of hot weather, reflection of witch custom during drought,and the retrospect of hot weather in rain poetry. Basing on those three aspects, the second chapter will make a concrete analysis of Du Fu’s thought and emotion in Kure poetry.The third chapter is focused on the artistic technique of Du Fu’s Kure poetry. Kure poetry in Kuizhou was wrote in the mature period of Du Fu when he was old. Both reference and creation of artistic technique can be found in this period of Du Fu’s poetry. This chapter included two sections. The first section will discuss its artistic reference of Kure poetry, like the skill of Fu, and the use of odd and dangerous image.The second section will explore the creation of artistic method that Kure poetry reflected, like the skill of “jintiwu”, putting argument into poetry, and the vulgar as the elegant.Basing on the previous chapters, the forth chapter will explore the artistic value of Kure poetry. This chapter included two sections. The first section focuses onexploring the value of Kure poetry for Du Fu and society. Kure poetry not only reflect the creative mood of Du Fu, but also the change of Tang dynasty, just like epic. The second section will analyze the influence of Kure poetry over the development of poetic.The last chapter is conclusion. Through the detailed analysis, the author concludes that Du Fu’s Kure poetry preserves historical value and reflects poet’s emotion. Kure poetry has proved that Du Fu was the master of the poetry art. The expressive technique of poetic art in Kure poetry also has a great influence on the poetic of the middle and late Tang Dynasty to the Song Dynasty.
