In the early 20th century, the Japanese imperialism warred to its two neighbors, China and South Korea. The Japanese imperialism annexed South Korea and then launched the September 18th Incident which is the beginning of aggression against China. In the end, Japan invaded and occupied a part of China. There is a piece of land carved the memory of people in China and Korea. The place is the Northeast of China. After the September 18th Incident, Japan made the Northeast as its own colonies, and in the following year established "Pseudo Manchuria". South Korea, which is adjacent to China, lost its sovereignty as early as 1910. The Northeast and South Korea have suffered from Japanese imperialist aggression, at the same time, there are many Korean people moved to the northeast of China. For the Northeast writers, the Northeast is their hometown. For the South Korean writers, the Northeast is the destination of many of their fellow citizens. Therefore, both of the writers of the two countries have their own records of the Northeast.Chinese northeast nationality writers can be divided into two categories, a class is exiled to inside Shanhaiguan pass which called the Northeast writer group and the other class is left in the Northeast enemy occupied area writers. The former because of their distinctive left-wing style gathered the public attention, and the comments also emerge a lot. The latter, however, due to Japanese harsh cultural rule, cannot cry "resistance" with great fanfare, so for a long time, their literature branded a traitor literature mark, and cannot gather too much attention. However, writers in the northeast enemy occupied areas could depict the image of the Northeast accurately. South Korean writers can also be divided into two categories, one is Korean writers who were in exile, immigration to the Northeast, and the other is Korean writers who had the Northeast travel experience. Due to China’s reform and opening, in South Korea, for the Manchurian literary research is very active. Recently, for the study of the latter works began to perk up. In fact, Korean writers who had been to the Northeast could also truly depict the image of the Northeast which is in the eyes of the South Korean. This paper is intended to show the similarities and differences of the works written by Chinese writers in the northest enemy occupied areas and Korean writers who had been to the Northeast, and between the two writers in the northeast of China during the period of the puppet Manchuria.Because the sight and position of writers in two countries are different, the images of the Northeast formed by them are different. From the point of view of Image study, the image of exotic alien is a product of the social collective imagination. Therefore the images they formed do not represent the true image. Through shaping the image of "the other" they speak of "self. For South Korean writers, they are not free to say "themselves" under Japanese culture. Therefore, it is very important to understand the "self" image of the creator through studying the image of "the other". In the image, the images can be divided into two kinds, the ideological image and utopian image. Through shaping the image of ideology creator can identify the status quo of their social and cultural. Through shaping the image of utopian creator can negate their social and cultural status quo. "The formation of the image is accompanied by the formation of self image", so the two types of the image of the Northeast of China shaped by Korean works reflect the image of the creator to a certain extent. This paper divides the images into the image of city and the image of countryside. The first chapter analyses the image of city shaped by the literature of the Northeast occupied areas and Korean works in the background of the Northeast. The writers of two countries have seen the magnificent side of the city as a result of modern civilization. They showed the bright side by descrbing the department store, racecourse, hotels and other places, busy, neon lights flashing street. However, they were not only concerned about the magnificent side of city, but also see the other side of the city. They noticed of the dim and humble corners, also they saw the many social chaos, observed the morbid social images. The city where faded under the bright side, revealing its true appearance. Writers in two countries both exposed the hypocrisy of "the union of five nationalities" and "land of happiness" which were advocated by the Japanese imperialists in their way.The second chapter analyses the image of countryside shaped by the literature of the Northeast occupied areas and Korean works in the background of the Northeast. Writers showed a large difference in describing the countryside of the Northeast. Chinese writer described the Northeast countryside as the object of plunder, and through it exposed the fact of Japanese aggression. However, Korean writers described the Northeast countryside as a virgin land. For Chinese farmers, the land of the Northeast is connected with their fate, so losing land means losing their lives. However, for Korean famers, they wanted to survive here. In fact, the Korean immigrants possessed the land actually means to snatch the local farmer’s land, but in order to given the "legitimacy" to this "possession", they had to describe the countryside as a virgin land. It is also the product of their collective imagination. Bandits in the Northeas also appeared different in their works. Chinese described them as hero to express their mind against Japanese aggression, but Korean described them as negative images, because it can extrude Korean famers’hard history, vague their "possession". The countryside of the Northeast describe as a "newborn" space. Because Korean writers should carter to some strategies of Japanese government, and Chinese writers wanted to keep hope to coming of the free day. Therefore, the image of the Northeast appeared different in Chinese and South Korean works. Through it, we can get to know various faces of Pseudo Manchuria in different people’s eyes.
