| There are abundant costume words and expressions in Manchu,and they have rich cultural connotation.In the first part of this paper,the Manchu costume words and expressions are classified into major three major categories:the hat,the dress and the shoe,then the author will choose some typical words and expressions from each group to analysis the basic semantic.In the second part,costume-related Manchu words and expressions are classified into single words,derivative and compound words.On the basis of this classification, this paper can differentiate and analyze, from the aspect synonyms, homophones and polysemes, the relationship within the Manchu costume words, as well as that between the Manchu costume words and other words.The cultural semantics of Manchu costume words and expressions is interpreted thoroughly in the third part.It explores the relationship between Manchu costume words and expressions and natural ecological environment which is indispensable for the Manchus,economy production mode and beliefs and custom.In addition,this paper discusses ways in which the Manchu costume words and expressions and its cultural semantics influences and also absorbs the Han culture in the process of cultural connect.Further discussion is also carried out on the relationship between Manchu costume words and expressions and costume system in Qing dynasty.The discussion reveals that Manchu costume words and expressions and its cultural semantics can reflect that the costume system in Qing dynasty – rigid stratification and strict regime. |
