A spectrum of poems of Mao Zedong have multiple versions of songs, and even a composer for a poetry writing multiple scores, that is, “ the same version different melody”.And this text employs one of Mao Zedong’s poetry, ‘bligh operator, xumei’, and studies the two music versions of this poem, created by Li jiefu and Sun xuanling respectively. These two versions show great difference in singing style. The version created by Li jie fu is suitable for art-song singing style, while the version created by Sun xuanling is suitable for folk-song singing style.The author mainly compare the creation background, music analysis and singing style of these two songs, aiming to find out the similarities and differences between them,grasp the main point in performance and offer effective reference to vocal learners.
